APARTMENT 603
Sometimes the only place left to go is up. By removing the false ceiling and stripping the apartment bare to its structural bones, an additional meter of ceiling height and three meters of floor space were gained. By creating this extra height, cabinetry could be extended upwards, essentially doubling the apartment's usable square meterage. The original sash windows were repaired, and full-height bespoke shutters were fitted to frame the apartment's unique inner-city view, allowing light into the apartment at any angle.
Exposed pipes were left exposed while the kitchen hides a myriad of clever storage nooks, leaving the eye to focus on the contemporary sleek interior.
